Malabar English School, one of the leading educational providers of Kottakkal was established on 8th May 2000 at Soopy Bazar, Kottakkal, in a rental building under the auspices of The Kottakkal Educational and Charitable Trust. The School is a bold step by the trust to provide quality education to the common people of the area in general and the down trodden and the backward sections of the society in particular.
Today the school is located at Cholakkundu, a nearby place of Kottakkal in a beautiful campus with its own building with all modern facilities to accommodate more than 2000 students and 175 staff in various departments. With the boundless blessings from the Almighty, our school reached its heights and shown remarkable progress in its aims by preparing our students to achieve their maxim excellence in scholastic and co-scholastic

The school is recognized by the Govt. of Kerala with Order No. K.DIS. B5/7038/08 Dated 07-03-2009; classes ranging from LKG (Tiny Tots) to Higher Secondary. It follows oxford English Syllabus in Tiny Tots and State Syllabus from Primary to Higher Secondary. Since last 10 years it sustains its 100% results in the SSLC examinations with prominent number of Full A Pluses, which makes the school one among the best in the Malappuram District. We offer Science, Commerce and Humanities streams in Higher Secondary section.
